About the Cockroach Janta Party
The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) is a youth-led movement founded by Abhijeet Dipke. It reclaims a slur used against young and unemployed Indians and advances civic demands on judicial accountability, electoral integrity, women’s reservation, media independence and anti-defection norms.

The Five Demands
- No Chief Justice shall be granted a Rajya Sabha seat as a post-retirement reward.
- If any legitimate vote is deleted, CEC shall face criminal liability under UAPA — taking away voting rights is no less than terrorism.
- Women shall receive 50% reservation (not 33%) without increasing Parliament strength; 50% Cabinet positions for women.
- Licences of media houses owned by Ambani and Adani shall be cancelled; investigate godi-media anchors’ accounts.
- Any MLA/MP who defects shall be barred from contesting elections or holding public office for 20 years.
